My Journey
PhD in Systems Medicine
Currently a PhD student at the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) and IFOM, focusing on Computational Biology in Milan, Italy.
- Research Area: Developing deep learning models for systems biology.
Master's Degree in Data Science and Engineering
Graduated from Turin's Polytechnic (again).
- Machine Learning Research: Was a founding member of the MALTO student team. We participated to shared tasks at conferences. We mainly focused on NLP and LLMs, with some computer vision sprinkled in. Managed to get my first publication in a peer reviewed journal (NAACL).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering
Graduated from Turin's Polytechnic.
- Cybersecurity: Participated in the highly selective Cyberchallenge.IT program. Got to know and became friends with the evil creatures of the pwnthem0le team. Was a member there for a time, we participated in hacking competitions (CTFs) and also organized our cybersec conference. We were the 1st ranked team in Italy during my period there, not because of me tho :)
